30 years of artistry

Who hasn’t heard of Crafts at Lyndhurst? It seems like the juried fine art and craft show has been around forever, offering editions each spring and autumn at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown.

Well, it’s actually been around for decades now, and the 30th annual Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst will be presented Sept. 12-14.

Over the years, the show’s organizer, Artrider Productions, has drawn more than 750,000 people to the famed event that not only offers unique shopping but has also raised almost $4 million for the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Add this next edition to your calendars, as more than 275 artists and craftsmen will be selling their American-made goods, including ceramics, stained glass, jewelry, wearable art, paintings, photography and much more.

There will also be special anniversary events such as hands-on workshops and a sculpture garden, along with the usual offerings of entertainment, specialty foods and children’s activities.
