Awhile back we let you know about an opportunity being offered by Simon Property Group, the parent company of one of WAG’s favorite shopping destinations, The Westchester in White Plains. We are happy to report that the Simon Style Setter has been chosen, and Chappaqua blogger Maritza Bernard is the lucky lady.
This recent announcement is part of a nationwide roll-out by Simon in which more than 40 style bloggers were selected from a pool of more than 700 to offer local commentary on fashion and beauty.
Shoppers will be able to turn to their local Style Setter – in WAG country, that’s Bernard – for posts about the latest trends, shopping and beauty tips and details on the newest merchandise arriving at The Westchester. Bernard will also be tapped to participate in fashion-related events at the mall, such as store openings and fashion shows.
Simon tells us that Bernard’s background in costume design and her years working with noted sports brands combined with her own blog, Milkshop, to give her the edge.
The blog, which caters to fashionable moms and moms-to-be, is a fun read. And Bernard’s also a personal shopper and stylist, so check out Milkshop – you’ll see Simon made a good pick.
