The Wolf Conservation Center’s 2012 Gala, at Richard Gere’s charming Bedford Post Inn, was a richly textured event featuring a cocktail party, silent auction, performance by classical pianist (and center founder) Hélène Grimaud, with cellist Jan Vogler, and a meet-the-artists gourmet dinner. The evening raised $40,000. But who can put a price tag on such a good time?
