A sparkling good cause

We last featured Noya Fine Jewelry & Accessories in our print edition back in November with a dazzling cocktail ring in our Wish List feature.

We were pleased to hear again from the Westport boutique, with an update on its Valentine’s Day promotion, scheduled for this weekend.

Here’s what they have shared:

“Noya Fine Jewelry decided to turn its Valentine’s Day promotion into a charitable event in response to the current situation with refugees in desperation around the world.

Valentine’s Day is a typically known for healthy sales for jewelry and chocolate businesses. However, Natalie Toraty, owner, and the marketing team of Noya felt strongly to use this event to support a bigger need in the world — to demonstrate compassion for those whom are turned away at borders, vulnerable to violent political civil wars and in need for humanitarian relief, particularly in Syria.

Noya Fine Jewelry will be contributing a percentage of proceeds generated from its Valentine’s Day Kabana (kabana.com) trunk show and throughout the month of February to Amaliah.org to bring humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees. Amaliah.org is an Israeli-American privately run organization with a mission to provide medical care and relief to Syrian refugee families & children and also to support projects creating secure, safe zones.

Natalie and her marketing team decided to give Noya’s tagline, ‘Just for You,’ a deeper meaning – ‘Just for Them.’

The store’s window decor displays the message, ‘Just for You’ in four languages (English, French, Italian and Portuguese) and is a nod to love being a universal, human quality. For this effort, the message will read ‘Just for Them.’ From email, to social media and to window displays, Noya’s message is clear – a call to the community to come together, share the love and support the refugees.”

Noya’s “Share the Love” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at the shop, 18 Riverside Ave.
