There’s no denying the style savvy of Munder-Skiles, the Garrison-based firm that produces distinctive garden furniture.
We’ve featured the designs and the company founder John Danzer several times in recent years.
So WAG was pleased to hear that Munder-Skiles is again supporting another lecture series at Boscobel House and Gardens, its historic neighbor.
The fall offerings of “Boscobel: Style” will kick off Sept. 18 with “Decorating: The Way I See It,” presented by Markham Roberts, principal of Markham Roberts Interior Design.
On Sept. 25, Janice Parker, principal of Janice Parker Landscape Architects – we were dazzled by the Greenwich-based firm’s terrace at the 43rd annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House this spring – will speak on “Creating Landscapes: Vision and Process.”
The final lecture, set for Oct. 2, will feature Linda O’Keeffe, creative director, design journalist and author, discussing “Rooms That Tell Stories.”
All lectures are held at 6 p.m. in the Grand Hall at Boscobel, on Route 9D. Hudson Highlands resident and editor Marian McEvoy introduces each speaker, with a cocktail reception concluding each evening.
Reservations are requested.
