Attention fashionistas: Make plans to spend next weekend at The Westchester in White Plains.
Simon Fashion Now, presented by White Plains Hospital, is back to spotlight the latest spring fashions and trends with runway shows, interactive entertainment and plenty more.
It showcases styles for men, women and children, along with beauty trends in events that get under way at 5 p.m. April 12 with “Trends & Friends Night.” Billed as “an evening of fashions, sampling and bites,” the night will include two runway fashion shows featuring spring looks from stores in The Westchester.
The event continues April 13 with “Design Wars,” which spotlights designs by students of Westchester Community College and the Westchester Fashion Academy for Children. Throughout the day, Simon Fashion Now will include runway shows, interactive stage events, in-store promotions and specials at participating retailers and lots more.
All events are free. Fundraising events held throughout the weekend will benefit the Junior League of Central Westchester and Operation PROM.
The event in White Plains marks the first stop on the national tour of Simon Fashion Now. The Westchester is at 125 Westchester Ave. For more details, visit shopthewestchester.com.
