A vintage wonderland

There’s a gem of a local antiques show that marks a milestone this month, its endurance a testament to the quality and variety of antiques to be found year in and out at this popular event.

The 20th annual Larchmont Antique and Collectibles Show will be held March 8 and 9 at Mamaroneck High School.

Show promoter Susan Levine has been in touch with WAG, letting us know that this year’s edition again promises much. Dealer booths sold out months ago, so there will be a full roster of 45 exhibitors on hand. They’ll be showing estate and costume jewelry, vintage clothing and accessories, silver, art pottery, vintage posters, antique maps and prints, lamps and lighting, books, kitchenware, clocks, glassware, furniture and accessories, rare tools and instruments, postcards and ephemera.

This show is always a delight to wander through – I know I’ve never left without making a purchase (or two or three…).

Hours are10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $6. Refreshments will be on sale. Proceeds will benefit the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation. Mamaroneck High School is at 1000 W. Boston Post Road.
