Blockheads offers discount for costumed customers

Halloween may land on a Tuesday, but it’s still Taco Tuesday.

You may be planning a hellishly delicious, home-cooked meal for Halloween, but one White Plains restaurant suggests otherwise.

Blockheads, an eatery serving healthy, Mexican-American cuisine, is offering a $5 gift certificate for patrons who dine at the restaurant dressed in their best Halloween gear, to be used toward their next visit. For those who haven’t yet had their fix of Halloween sweets, a limited-time, candy corn margarita will also be available for guests (age 21 and older).

The restaurant offers a myriad of generously portioned plates, including quesadillas, tacos, burritos, wraps and salads, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. And you mustn’t forget the selection of margaritas, bulldogs and red sangria. (Grandma’s Iced Tea – a blend of Devotion Tiki Tea Vodka, iced tea and lemonade, with your choice of original or strawberry, raspberry, mango, peach or watermelon tea – particularly caught our eye.)

Cheers to the 31st.

Blockheads is at 40 Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, with additional locations throughout New York City. The $5 coupon is to be used at the For more, visit blockheads.com.
