The latest edition of The Westchester Review is out, and I think I can be forgiven for having a proprietary interest. My short story, “Jakarta Rain” – the basis for my new novel “The Penalty for Holding” (Less Than Three Press) – is part of the collection.
The journal, however, features writers from the Hudson River to the Long Island Sound, from northern Westchester’s undulating horse country to the bustling Yonkers waterfront. It packs a lot for $10, and you can find it at bookstores throughout the county and at Amazon.com.
