Ethan Allen’s artistic take on philanthropy

WAG has received an update from Ethan Allen, the Danbury-based furniture and home fashion company, about one of its latest philanthropic efforts.

Through its Art For A Cure collection, Ethan Allen will donate 30 percent of the purchase price of select artwork to benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

“Vitality” by John Shelton and “Legacy” by Dennis Gastone are the featured works now on sale. The limited-edition giclée on canvas pieces ($1,699), signed by the artists, can be ordered online or viewed in person at Ethan Allen stores, including Stamford and Hartsdale.

Additional works in the program will be introduced in coming months.
