New from Sisley Paris

WAG samples some new skincare products from White Plains-based Sisley Paris.

If you’re a WAG reader, then you know that we’re big fans of Sisley Paris. There’s just something about the way the company uses botanicals in its skincare and cosmetics that leaves our skin supple and radiant. Recently, the brand – whose American headquarters is based in White Plains – dropped us a line to let us know about several new produces that Sisley fans will want to add to their beauty regimen, if they haven’t already done so.

Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge Concentrated Firming Body Care uses soy, dill, oat seed and other botanicals in a product that offers the smoothness of a serum and the richness of a cream to sculpt the skin.

Nothing shows age the way hands do. To diminish dark spots, plump, smooth, moisturize and protect them, Sisley has created Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge Hand Care Anti-Aging Concentrate, using Persian acacia and lindera extracts and soy and yeast protein complexes.

While the anti-aging line appeals to those of us of a certain, uh, vintage, Sisley targets the millennial set with its SisleYouth Anti-Pollution. It’s designed to protect young skin from environmental wear and tear using buckwheat seed, gingko biloba and pea extracts along with a vitamin E derivative. (We have it on good authority that those of us again of a certain vintage can benefit from it as well.)

Finally, who doesn’t love a good compact? But striking the balance between shine and matte isn’t always easy. Enter Blur Expert, described as “a high-tech, compact powder…suitable for all skin tones…to provide a powder-like compact texture combined with a melting gel formula.”

All we know is that it has a light, velvety quality that allows us to wear the powder – rather than the powder wearing us.

Sisley-Paris products are available at luxe retailers, Sisley-Paris boutiques and at Sisley-Paris.com.
