This past spring, WAG got to spend some time with home-design icons Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams.
We were meeting the founders of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams for a feature that would run in our April issue – and the setting proved the ideal backdrop for our chat. The pair was in Greenwich, you see, visiting their Signature Store as part of their namesake furniture company’s 25th anniversary festivities.
And those festivities wrap up this month in a most stylish way.
“December’s Silver Anniversary Sweeps” offers the proverbial “cherry on top” of a year that included a national tour filled with parties that raised funds for local nonprofits. In total, the celebrations raised more than $200,000 for those in need.
And now, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams are giving customers the chance to win a $25,000 Shopping Spree.
Entries will be accepted through Dec. 23, with the winner of a random drawing held on Christmas Day getting to select favorites from the company’s offerings that include upholstery, tables, storage, rugs, lighting, bed linens, accessories and art.
The premise is to let the company know what you would choose, so start daydreaming. Here’s how those at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams explain the process:
- The entry form itself is a “Wish List,” where entrants “drag and drop” six silver-inspired (25th anniversary, remember?) pieces from a selection of 30 in three product categories. They then have the option of sharing their Wish Lists via social media for more chances to win (…and perhaps to drop a holiday hint of a gift they’d love to receive).
- It can be entered from a tab on the company’s Facebook page (facebook.com/mitchellgoldandbobwilliams).
- It is open only to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states & District of Columbia, plus Canada (excluding Quebec) who must be at least 18.
- To enter, entrants complete a Wish List of six items, and fill in the registration form. They can then share their Wish List via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Google + for more chances to win. They can come back daily to share a wish list – or create a new wish list – for additional chances.
