WAG was recently sent a sampling of the made-in-New York artisan ginger beer, a beverage made with 100-percent fresh, unfiltered ginger pieces. Flavors range from Extra Spicy to Mango, from Sugar Free to Earl Grey to Lemon Lime.
Bottles come in two sizes, ready for sipping – or incorporating into mocktails or cocktails.
Our first reviewer had this to say: “Wow. Crisp… bubbly. A very nice sip,” but noted a strong ginger aftertaste. Another said it packed “a bold, unfiltered ginger kick.” Boldness was a definite theme in the comments. This is clearly not a drink for shrinking violets or those with who like things subtle.
