Rosanna helps set a lovely table

I have long loved Rosanna Inc., the company known for its chic — and sometimes cheeky —designs.

President and art director Rosanna Bowles began the Seattle-based tabletop company out of her home back in the early 1980s, and it’s thrived ever since.

You may recall we featured the “Come Fly With Me” collection from Rosanna in our June issue, its round-the-world theme a perfect fit for our “Passion’s Tides” travel issue.

And I see Rosanna every day, since I have one of its fashion-themed trinket trays on my bureau, a little treasure I was captivated by when shopping one day at Nordstrom in White Plains.

I have found that no matter the collection or its pieces, from a simple vase or mug to a fanciful cake pedestal, Rosanna products share an understated elegance. But sometimes, it’s the eye-catching graphics that set them apart from what you’ve seen before.

Today, I’m daydreaming of a casual summer spread, perhaps some cheese, olives and more, served on items from the “Buon Gustaio” collection.

Looks like Rosanna has done it again!
