Save the Date

Join Bloomingdale’s in White Plains and WAG at 5:30 p.m. on March 21 for an Eileen Fisher fashion show. Fisher, a Westchester resident, will be giving a grant to the Women’s Enterprise Development Center in White Plains, which along with Fisher has been so instrumental in the careers of fledgling women entrepreneurs – women like Maria Valente of Mamaroneck’s Chocolations, who spoke highly of Fisher and the WEDC when she was profiled in WAG’s December “Bedazzled” issue.

Ten percent of the fashion show’s proceeds will be donated to the WEDC. Kudos to Eileen and the organization. We at WAG look forward to seeing you there.

And in other Eileen Fisher news, her Irvington location will reopen April 13 – just in time for Earth Month, Earth Day, Earth everything – with the I Want My Clothes Back Thank You Very Much campaign. During the month of April, the store will collect your old Eileen Fisher wares to be refurbished and resold. For every piece of clothing you bring in to be refurbished, you will get $5 towards an Eileen Fisher purchase. Talk about a win, win.

Stay tuned to WAG’s newsletter for more details.
