President of HBO Documentary Programming, Sheila Nevins is a self-styled tough-minded broad who says exactly what she thinks. Her sharp, funny, poignant new book, “You Don’t Look Your Age…and Other Fairy Tales” is part memoir and part short story and poetry collection.
Nevins will be interviewed by playwright and LGBT activist Larry Kramer – the admired subject of one of the book’s pieces – at the Barnes & Noble at 33 E. 17th St. in Manhattan on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. Then at 6 p.m. on Sunday June 11, Nevins will talk with publisher/literary agent Joni Evans at the new Barnes & Noble concept store in Eastchester’s Vernon Hills Shopping Center on White Plains Post Road.
