WAG spent a recent late afternoon on the rooftop of The Peninsula Hotel in Manhattan, invited to attend a launch by Valmont at Salon de Ning.
The Swiss cosmetics and wellness brand was introducing “Essence of Bees,” the latest from its l’Elixir des Glaciers skincare range.
We heard from Sophie Guillon, CEO of Valmont Cosmetics, who shared details of the new products – what she called “the top of the top” – that will be available beginning in September.
And in an unexpected connection, we got to chat with Andrew Coté, owner of Andrew’s Honey and a fourth-generation beekeeper who grew up in Norwalk. He not only brought a beehive for demonstration but also spoke about the properties of bees and their importance to the ecosystem.
All in all, it was a honey of an event.
