Verdict’s in on artist Daniel Greene ‘judicial’ work

North Salem artist Daniel Greene, subject of a past WAG feature, shares his latest portrait work.

WAG visited artist Daniel Greene in his North Salem barn-studio for a March 2015 feature.

His vivid work has touched on everything from the drama of the auction floor to haunting scenes of New York City’s subways to striking portraits of notables in varied fields, from government to the arts, business to education.

Now he’s shared one of his latest works with us, an oil portrait of Jonathan Lippman, former chief justice of the Appellate Court of the State of New York, sending us both an image of the work and a photograph from the unveiling ceremony, held earlier this month.

Looks like he’s created another… work of art.
