WAGwit wonders: “What animal do you relate to?”

“I’d say that I relate most to a horse.  Being prey animals, horses are one of the easiest animals to connect with.  Horses want and need leadership, so they want to connect when a person approaches them.  Since horses are prey, they are very intuitive and can easily understand humans’ feelings and internal struggles.  Horses provide an opportunity for self-awareness and personal development, as they will give you feedback, using their bodies if they feel you are not aware of your being with them.  Most importantly, horses are not aggressive by nature, unlike predators, and are always looking for harmony with people.  This is why at our leadership and team development company, we often use horses as teachers with our clients – helping people grow into their best selves.”

“I most relate to the adorable dogs that were the stars of our newscast today. We were invited to film 70 3-month-old puppies that were spared the doggy gas chamber in Mississippi after a dramatic rescue staged by the SPCA of Westchester. They literally drove down with a bus and rescued the animals, bringing them back to safety at the Briarcliff Manor shelter. Despite their obvious traumatic upbringing, these pooches were so energetic, affectionate and eager to start a new chapter. We should all have such a great attitude in life when times get difficult. Kudos to the excellent job done by the SPCA.”
