Warm-weather sips featuring Disaronno

Those in search of some new cocktails for spring-summer entertaining can thank Disaronno for inspiration.

The veteran maker of arguably the most famous amaretto liqueur has shared a lineup of recipes for “the sunshine-filled season.” And it already has us daydreaming of a leisurely Memorial Day weekend – and gatherings well into the summer.

Perhaps your guests will delight in the way pineapple juice livens up a Disaronno Sunrise or Campari adds an unexpected touch to the Disaronno Operetta?

The options seem endless, and, as you can see by just two of the recipes, easy to make:

Disaronno Sunrise

  • 1½ parts Disaronno
  • 1½ parts pineapple juice
  • 1½ parts orange juice
  • ¾ part Grenadine

Shake all ingredients and strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Disaronno Operetta

  • 1 oz. Disaronno
  • .5 oz. Campari
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • .5 oz. lemon juice
  • 1.5 oz. Prosecco
  • Orange peel

Add all ingredients, except Prosecco, into a mixing glass with ice. Shake and strain into a wine glass with ice. Top with Prosecco. Garnish with an orange slice.

Disaronno ($27.99 for 750ml bottle) is available at most liquor retailers.
