Welcome the scents of the season

Scented sachets from Floral Simplicity add a festive note to the holiday season.

When you need to freshen up your surroundings – home, car or office – there’s bound to be an option to your liking among the large selection of scented sachets from Floral Simplicity.

Whether you opt for seasonal scents such as Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cinnamon, Winter Pine or Candy Cane or the more year-round picks that include Lavender Fields, Gardenia or Laundry Basket, you’ll likely be pleased.

WAG recently received a few samples – and the reviews have been uniformly positive.

And the positives just kept coming, such as learning that the eco-friendly packets are made of recycled paper with biodegradable inks with the scents designed to last up to six months.

We were pleased, too, to learn that Floral Simplicty is a family company that puts an emphasis on making charitable contributions in support of its social missions – a lovely thought especially for today, Giving Tuesday. In 2017, the company donated more than 20 percent of its profits to charity, focusing on feeding the hungry, helping the homeless, supporting mothers in need and reconstructing the homes of victims of natural disasters. (See the December issue of WAG for more stories on people and companies who make it part of their mission to give back).

And in this day of impersonal pitches and mass emails, it was refreshing to also receive a hand-signed note from one of the New Jersey-based company’s principals thanking us for considering Floral Simplicity’s made-in-the-USA products.

At this time of year, when we’re all scrambling for finding gifts with meaning, keep Floral Simplicity’s artfully designed, attractively priced products ($8.50 for a three-pack) in mind for that unexpected-yet-thoughtful hostess gift, stocking stuffer or teacher or other thank-you gift.
