Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson might sound like the name of a prestigious law firm. But everyone in classical music knows them as the members of the terrific trio celebrating 40 years of making beautiful music.

Sunday, April 9 at Purchase College’s Performing Arts Center, pianist Joseph Kalichstein, violinist-conductor Jaime Laredo and cellist Sharon Robinson will team with the Westchester Philharmonic for Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 and Mozart’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor. The performance is at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $40 to $97. The college is on Anderson Hill Road between Purchase and King streets. 914-682-3707 or westchesterphil.org.

If you get there early enough, you might check out the newly reopened Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Gardens at PepsiCo, which are right across the street and feature 20th century masterworks by the likes of Calder, Maillol, Moore, Rodin and Oldenburg in a Russell Page design. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends and admission is free. 914-253-2000. – Georgette Gouveia
