A welcome return to Tarrytown

There are those who plan their calendar around Crafts at Lyndhurst, which will return to Tarrytown for its latest edition April 29 through May 1.
The popular event – held each spring and fall on the grounds of the National Trust for Historic Preservation site, which was recently featured in the PBS program “10 Buildings That Changed America” – will once again showcase the works of nearly 300 American artists, designers and craftsmen.

The celebration of all things handmade will showcase contemporary creations along with demonstrations, interactive elements, entertainment, a sculpture garden, expanded food court and children’s activities.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 and May 1 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 30. Admission is $12 for a weekend pass ($11 for senior citizens, $4 for children ages 6 to 16 and free for those under 6).

Lyndhurst is at 635 S. Broadway.
