…And so is Neiman’s

Neiman Marcus at The Westchester in White Plains is back by appointment only for now.

We were never so happy to have our beloved Oscar de la Renta pink, white and beige ombré earrings break as it gave us a chance to return them to Neiman Marcus in The Westchester, where we purchased them a couple of summers ago on sale, for free repair.

The luxe retailer, which had filed for Chapter 11 (reorganizational) bankruptcy back in May, has reopened its White Plains store but by appointment only. The new hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. The appointment only policy will continue as The Westchester itself reopens today, July 10. Mariposa, Neiman’s restaurant, remains closed.

Still half a loaf is better than none when it comes to retail therapy. We’re glad to see Neiman’s and The Westchester back – and get our fave earrings fixed.
