Show houses are a tried-and-true way to see the best and latest in interior design and home decorating trends.
One Kings Lane, the online source for stylish home goods, is putting its own spin on the tradition this month with the unveiling of its first “residential retail concept” in New Canaan.
Debbie Propst, the president of OKL, is opening up her new home, designed by The Studio at One Kings Lane.
“I wanted to literally open my doors to our customer,” she says in promotional materials.
It will allow clients, we are also told, to “learn more about the brand, experience the company’s furnishings and décor offerings and meet with its in-house design team for complimentary one-on-one appointments.”
The open house wraps up Friday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it will then be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays – by appointment – beginning April 21.
