Cisco Brewers, the family- and dog-friendly hot spot and producer of beers, wines and spirits, will open its doors at The Village in Stamford with a sneak peek Memorial Day weekend. The launch marks the Nantucket-based brewery’s first outpost in Connecticut.
The Cisco Brewers experience with outdoor patio seating, live music and inclusive vibes will be complemented by a first taste of small bites from The Village’s forthcoming restaurant. In addition, luxury yachting company partner Barton & Gray will be on-site to welcome guests to the waterfront with a 40-foot Hinckley Talaria yacht and meet-and-greet with co-founders Tim Barton and Doug Gray.
Founded near Cisco Beach in 1995 by islanders who began selling beer from their outdoor brewery, Cisco Brewers has gained a cult-like following across the Northeast, built on its laid-back, good-times lifestyle.
The Cisco Brewers sneak peek will provide a first look at The Village, a new indoor/outdoor premium waterfront campus designed to serve the needs of entrepreneurs and creators in the realms of arts and entertainment, tech, music, health, fitness, food, finance, digital influencers and more. Touting 133,000 square feet with nearly 1,000 feet of walkable marina, The Village fuses modern office space and private event venues with food and beverage offerings. The large-scale, work/play environment also encompasses Connecticut’s first LEED v4 commercial building, making it an energy-efficient space. Anchoring The Village is media entrepreneur Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse brand, launched in 2018 in partnership with Jimmy Kimmel.
Said Montgomery, Wheelhouse CEO and founder of The Village: “I’m thrilled to team up with Cisco Brewers to bring a taste of Nantucket to Fairfield County – specifically Stamford. Together we will create a signature waterfront experience in Stamford reflective of the beloved Cisco brand with live music, locally crafted libations and more. The Cisco debut in Connecticut is just the first of many exciting announcements to come as we mark the official launch of The Village in the months ahead.”
Added Cisco Brewers CEO Jay Harman: “We’re pumped to collaborate with Brent and the Wheelhouse team to expand the Cisco Brewers brand to Connecticut. The family-friendly Fairfield County vibe and this new location on the waterfront perfectly complement our ethos, and we’re excited to welcome new and familiar faces alike to experience Cisco at The Village.”
Following the holiday weekend sneak peek, Cisco Brewers will host previews every weekend in June leading up to its grand opening July 4 weekend.
