Fresh for fall

The fall season is officially here. With that comes a change in the weather, as well as our skin.

The leaves are falling and there’s a lot to get excited about for the season, but the most important is realizing that our skin reacts to the changes, too. There is plenty of moisture to go around in the summer, but in the cooler months our skin loses that moisture, creating dryness and sensitivity. The best way to keep your skin happy and healthy is to moisturize.

We tend to use lighter moisturizers in the warm months, but try switching to a richer moisturizer for the winter months. Two I recommend are Clinique’s Moisture Surge ($39). It’s specifically made for dry skin, though it’s oil free.

Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro Whipped Cream ($60) offers a luxurious texture that really does feel like whipped cream. It’s luxurious and a little goes a long way. Your face will instantly feel moisturized while not feeling heavy. Apply it at night and you will have supple skin in the morning.
