Getting crafty in Tarrytown

In our current fashion-themed issue, we introduced you to the lovely hand-knit fashions and accessories created by Elena Rosenberg.

We here at WAG had the pleasure of an impromptu trunk show when the Scarsdale woman brought a wealth of her work to our offices so we could photograph the scarves and wraps, capelets and gloves and hats and jewelry for the story.

This weekend, the pleasure of discovering her work is all yours.

Starting today, Rosenberg will be among some 275 artists and artisans exhibiting at Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst.

The Artrider Productions’ famed event returns to the Tarrytown estate’s grounds on South Broadway for a show that opens Sept. 20 and continues through Sept. 22.

Get ready to be dazzled by the best in contemporary craft with creations including jewelry, fashion and accessories, furniture and home-décor pieces, and functional and sculptural work in ceramics, glass, metal, painting, photography, wood and mixed media.

The fair will also include demonstrations, live entertainment, children’s activities, specialty food vendors and a food-court area.
