Greenwich Medical Spa soldiers on after fire

The Dec. 17 car crash and subsequent fire at the Riverside Commons Shopping Center that killed Devon Dalio, son of billionaire hedge funder Ray Dalio, and destroyed a Verizon store brought significant damage to the adjacent Greenwich Medical Spa. While no one else was hurt, the spa has had to close the location for months of renovations, and staffers are working out of the Westport, Ridgefield and Scarsdale locales.

“We kindly ask for your patience and support at this time as we navigate the loss of our building, inventory, equipment and systems,” writes founding CEO Marria Pooya. “Our phones are working, but our server was lost in the fire, which makes online communication and booking challenging. Please know that we are still here for you.

“This loss has come as a shock, but our dynamic and resilient Greenwich Medical Spa team will rise to the occasion, and we plan to reopen a renovated space that will be even more beautiful and accessible than ever. We are treating this as an opportunity to refresh the design and modernize our facility – to make your visits even more experiential.

“Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to providing you with our leading customer service and a world-class treatment experience. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

“You can reach us by calling 203-637-0662.”
