The New Castle Historical Society will celebrate the Roaring Twenties during its Jazz Era Picnic in the Park fundraiser, set for Sept. 15 in Chappaqua.

From its music to its fashions, the Roaring Twenties will be in the spotlight when the New Castle Historical Society hosts the next edition of the Jazz Era Picnic in the Park Sept. 15 in Chappaqua.

What’s becoming the society’s signature fundraiser will once again fill the lawn and circle of the Chappaqua Metro-North train station, with Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra again providing the entertainment.

Guests are encouraged to come in period dress. The lawn will open at 5 p.m. with music from 5:30.

Ticket prices and amenity packages vary. For a limited time and while supplies last, general admission tickets for nonmembers ($35) will be offered at 50% off, or $17.50.

The event, which benefits the society, will be held rain or shine, moving to an early 20th-century Chappaqua estate in case of rain.
