Life is rosy at New York Botanical Garden

With 4,000 pinks, reds, whites and yellows in bloom, everything’s coming up roses at The New York Botanical Garden.

On Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., NYBG hosts an array of activities centered around the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden. Enjoy music, dancing, talks with rosarians, demonstrations, tours and raffles of rose plants.

The Rose Garden Weekend is included in the All-Garden Pass — $25; $22 for senior citizens and students; $10 for children ages 2 to 12. Children under age 2 are admitted free.

To purchase tickets or for more information, visit nybg.org. And don’t forget to check out “Passion Flowers,” WAG’s May garden issue, at wagmag.com.– Georgette Gouveia
