Martha Stewart’s next step

Lifestyle icon Martha Stewart, a former WAG cover subject, is now collaborating with Aerosoles on a line of fashionable, functional footwear.

Martha Stewart – who welcomed WAG into her Bedford home for a July 2014 cover story– continues to move ever forward.

Aerosoles has announced a partnership with the Martha Stewart brand, the collaboration resulting in, as press materials explain, “a line of fashionable, functional footwear inspired by Martha Stewart’s timeless style.”

As shared in the announcement, Stewart said, “I am excited to partner with Aerosoles as a brand ambassador and create a line of footwear that not only looks good, but feels good. Whether I’m working in my garden or attending an event, I need shoes that offer support and comfort and are beautifully designed. With Aerosoles as my partner, I’m thrilled to be able to provide my customers with footwear that combines the most stylish trends with quality performance.”

The partnership’s launch features a collection of rain boots with an equestrian twist, designed for Holiday 2018. Select styles are available for pre-order now, with the full line launched Dec. 4.

The first complete collection, for Spring/Summer 2019, will be introduced in February. It will include, we’re told, styles that Stewart considers wardrobe staples such as casual and dress flats, heeled sandals, luxe mules and slides and espadrille wedges. Prices for the Martha Stewart for Aerosoles line will range from $79 to $120.

Lin James, Vice President of Product Development at Aerosoles, said in the announcement, “We are thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart on a collection of shoes that are both timeless and trend-right. Martha’s form-meets-function aesthetic marries perfectly with Aerosoles’ commitment to creating fashion footwear that feels good. We are excited to tap into Martha’s connection with shoppers to introduce more women to the idea that style and comfort are not mutually exclusive.”
