One Drop and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation are teaming with Phillips’ auction house and Bacs & Russo to present “Time Counts,” a star-studded timepiece auction within Phillips’ “Racing Pulse” Flagship New York Watch Auction, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.

The “Time Counts” event will contain 12 lots dedicated specifically to One Drop and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s missions to provide access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene, working toward improving climate resilience for some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Among the noteworthy timepieces are four from Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil and One Drop and two from Prince Albert. Meanwhile, Bono, the activist and lead singer for U2, will be represented by a vintage, 18-karat pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece, along with his framed drawing of U2 lyrics for “The First Time,” dated 2020. (Bono originally gifted this particular watch to his father, whom he credits with giving him his voice.)

The winning bidder and a guest will receive an invitation from Prince Albert  to attend a private reception with Formula One legend Jackie Stewart, who will sign an item for the winning bidder. A palace photographer will capture the moment.
