More time to be dazzled

The Barbara Berger exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan is one of those blockbusters that jewelry lovers will be talking about for years. We even devoted several pages of our December (“Gems and All Things Dazzling”) issue to the show rich with hundreds of pins, necklaces and bracelets amassed over decades by the longtime collector. The show dazzles with work from designers and firms that include, just for starters, Chanel, Dior, Miriam Haskell, Coro, Kenneth Jay Lane, Lawrence Vrba and Iradj Moini.

The exhibition was set to close Jan. 20, but demand has led to the extension of “Fashion Jewelry: The Collection of Barbara Berger” to April 20.

If you’ve not gone, go. If you have gone, you know you want to go again… enjoy.
