On the hunt for vintage treasures

There was a time when local antiques and collectibles shows were plentiful.

Sadly for those who love all things vintage, that time is long gone — but one show continues to carry the torch, going strong in its third decade.

The 22nd annual Larchmont Antiques and Collectibles Show will be held March 12 and 13 at Mamaroneck High School.

Some 45 dealers will be on hand, offering a mix of goods. Expect to find vintage furniture and decorative accessories, estate and costume jewelry, vintage clothing and purses, picture frames, European postcards and paper goods. There will also be art pottery, toys, silver, glass, books, maps, prints, political memorabilia, record albums (and more).

Show hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 13. Free verbal appraisals will be offered from noon to 3 p.m. March 13. The school is at 1000 W. Boston Post Road. Admission is $8, with proceeds to benefit the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.

Happy hunting!
