Jewelry, shopping and – piercings, oh my!
Multiple earrings are back – as if they ever went away.
Maria Tash, a New York-based, nationally recognized player in the piercing world, is offering the latest in body jewelry through Sunday, April 30 at Saks Fifth Avenue: The Collective in Greenwich.
Clustered ear piercings are characteristic of Tash’s edgy style, which reflects a conscious appreciation for the art of body piercing and a love of ethnic designs. The pop-up store is showcasing a selection from Venus by Maria Tash, the artist’s jewelry line, which includes ear, nostril and navel jewelry, as well as bracelets and necklaces.
For those eager to play with the trends, Tash is conducting piercings as well. This is a special treat for the Greenwich scene, as clients of Tash’s shop, Venus Body Arts Inc., have included Beyoncé, Scarlett Johansson and Lisa Edelstein.
