One of the season’s highlights in WAG country is the Poolside Summer Pairing Series at the Castle Hotel & Spa in Tarrytown. We had the good fortune of attending a pairing on a perfect August evening last year and reveled in the delectable themed teaming of nibbles, bevvies and music amid the romantic, grotto-like setting.
This summer’s series – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays – is already in full swing and continues tonight with Moët & Chandon, jazz and R & B.
Aug. 4, it’s “Summer in Tuscany,” with a selection of Tuscan wines and music inspired by The Eagles.
Flamenco flashes across the flagstones for a Spanish-flavored evening on Aug. 11. Then the series concludes Aug. 18 with an “Argentinian Night,” featuring barbecue, Malbec and music inspired by The Gipsy Kings.
