Those who like to shop for things a bit out of the ordinary, things with a decidedly artistic flair, will want to save some time during the weekend of Oct. 12-14. That’s when the 19th annual Westchester Fine Craft Show comes to the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
More than 100 artisans from across the country will showcase their one-of-a-kind fashions, jewelry, furniture and decorative accessories.
A “Meet the Artists Show Preview” will run from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Oct. 12. (Tickets are $40; proceeds benefit the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Program at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla).
Show hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 12; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 13; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 14. Admission is $12, $11 for senior citizens and free for children under age 12. The County Center is at 198 Central Ave.
