Tea for (you) too

Tea Forté, a WAG fave, is now at Bloomingdale’s White Plains.

We couldn’t get enough of Tea Forté, the Massachusetts-based company, when Mary Shustack first introduced us to it in her fine writeup. We particularly loved the poetically named African Solstice, which is a rooibos (“red bush”) tea that is as smooth and full-bodied as it is healthful.

So you could’ve knocked us over with the proverbial feather when we encountered the brand again at Bloomingdale’s White Plains last Thursday night for its tea party celebrating the English label – and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge fave – Hobbs. The good news is that Tea Forté wasn’t there just for the party. The brand will be part of Bloomingdale’s holiday scene.

And there’s more good news:  Tea Forté – which has some lovely accessories, like the cherry blossom steeping cup and infuser that we just had to have – will be coming out with a botanical line of teaware next year.

Count us excited.
