Bummer about all the St. Patrick’s Day parades cancelled because of COVID-19. But you know what? There are worse things and you can still celebrate the day. Strut your stuff in green, the color of spring and hope. Hunker down tonight with some corned beef and cabbage and a good Irish film, like “The Quiet Man” or “Waking Ned Devine.” Then raise a glass to “The Parting Glass” and this poignant Irish blessing:

May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.
