Two dates, two shows

Save the dates for two June concerts, one featuring singer-songwriter Johnny Irion in Rockland County and a tribute to composer John Williams in Dutchess County.

Tickets are now on sale for two upcoming concerts set for the region:

• Rockland Center for the Arts in West Nyack will host a special album release concert with singer/songwriter Johnny Irion. Perhaps best known for his folk/country work with his wife, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Irion will be unveiling his solo release, “Driving Friend.” The Music Sessions @ RoCA show is set for 7:30 p.m. June 15 at RoCA, 27 S. Greenbush Road, with tickets at $15.

• The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra will conclude its season by offering a tribute to composer John Williams (“Star Wars,” “Jaws” and more) with a concert set for 7:30 p.m. June 16 at Rhinebeck High School. Saxophonist Christopher Brellochs will accompany the orchestra as the evening’s guest performer. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $5 for students. The school is at 45 N. Park Road.
