A decade of treasure hunting in Norwalk

Save Sept. 17 for a bit of treasure hunting. That’s when the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk will hold its 10th annual Old-fashioned Flea Market.

Avid collectors – and plain ol’ shoppers – will want to save the date of Sept. 17.

That’s when the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk will hold its 10th annual Old-fashioned Flea Market.

Vendors will be offering antiques, repurposed furniture, collectibles, jewelry, crafts, household items, clothing and toys, as well as specialty and farm-to-table foods.

There will also be a “white elephant table” where shoppers can find unique items starting at $1; mini-tours of the museum for $5; and a classic and antique car show featuring the Connecticut Seaport Car Club.

Chaired by Steve Balser and sponsored by Fairfield County Bank, the event will be held on the grounds of the National Historic Landmark. All proceeds will benefit the museum.

The fair hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The mansion is at 295 West Ave.
