A night of Motown, in White Plains

Those not connecting with contemporary music can take heart.

A walk down memory lane is set for Sept. 17 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, courtesy of presenters Homestyle Entertainment and Westchester County Parks.

The Legends of Motown with The Jacksons and The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards will get under way at 7:30 p.m.

The Jacksons, featuring original members Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon Jackson, are known for a high-energy, multimedia show that includes the group’s own hits as well as songs made famous by their late brother, Michael.

Edwards, one of the last surviving members of The Temptations – he replaced David Ruffin in 1968 – is associated with hits such as “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” “Ball of Confusion” and “Cloud Nine.”

Tickets range from $57 to $97 and can be purchased in person at the County Center box office or through Ticketmaster.com.
