A solo exhibition unveiled

Heather Gaudio Fine Art in New Canaan will open its latest exhibition, “Jill Moser: Paintings & Prints,” on April 16.

The solo show is devoted to the New York-based artist, whose work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., among others.

The exhibition will include a suite of five prints that the artist created to benefit The Glass House in New Canaan. The carborundum aquatints, executed in collaboration with the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, are abstract evocations of the surrounding landscape as experienced from within Philip Johnson’s landmark residence.

“The Hours” will be printed in an edition of five, with proceeds from the sale of the suites to benefit The Glass House. The project was underwritten by Heather Gaudio Fine Art.

The exhibition will continue through May 28 at the gallery, 66 Elm St., with an opening reception set from 5 to 7 p.m. April 21.
