Carla Hall, a co-host of “The Chew” on ABC who rose to fame on Bravo’s “Top Chef,” will soon be making a personal appearance in Westchester.
Hall will be signing copies of her latest book, “Carla’s Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes from Around the World,” from 4 to 6 p.m. April 4 at Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers.
The book combines Hall’s love of family gatherings and of global flavors, offering up both dishes from around the world and stories of people connecting through food.
The culinary journey includes sections that feature facts and a basic recipe for a food (everything from eggplant to short ribs) then spins off into international recipes featuring the same ingredient.
The book will be available during the event for $24.99. Stew Leonard’s is at 1 Stew Leonard Drive.
