Home (in the office) for the holidays

WAG celebrates the season with arts and crafts and good food (and company).

We at WAG can’t get enough of the holiday season and with Hanukkah and Christmas delivering a moveable feast – not to mention New Year’s being hot on their heels – we are in our special glory.

Speaking of feasting, the staff of parent company Westfair Communications enjoyed a sumptuous holiday lunch at Lago in Harrison’s Silver Lake neighborhood hosted by publisher Dee DelBello and CFO Mauro Adornetto, with associate publisher Anne Jordan-Duffy providing her usual novel entertainment with special Westfair lyrics set to “Winter Wonderland.” Our grab bag featured gifts of stylishly warm alpaca socks from sister company Herde de Ferme (herdedeferme.com).

Our White Plains office gets into swing of the season as well, with clever décor by WAG’s society editor, Robin Costello. This year, Robin, a real Athena of the crafts set, worked the theme of a Westie Christmas, celebrating the office’s actual West Highland Terriers – Brooke, Sollo and Willy – and my book series, “The Games Men Play” (thegamesmenplay.com).

We’ll be taking some time off to spend with our other families. Look for special holiday editions of WAG Weekly Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. But we wouldn’t want to head out without first saying “thank you” to all our readers and subjects. You make WAG happen for us.

Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year from all of us at WAG and Westfair. May your season be a joyous one and may all your dreams come true in the year ahead.
