LIVING ON

The ArtFull Living Show House, that stunner of a showcase that explores how easily (and stylishly) art can be integrated into a home setting, continues through Sept. 9 in Cold Spring.

You may recall reading about it in our June issue, where we previewed its launch.

Well, visitors have been touring the home all summer – and the related special-event series also continues.

Kristen Olson Lyon will offer a lecture on “Sculpture in Clay” at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Cost is $20 for the lecture and a tour. In addition, the “Up Close and Personal” series will next feature designer Chuck Burleigh at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 28. His lecture, “From Empty Box to Home,” will be part of an afternoon that also includes a luncheon and tour. Cost is $40. Reservations are requested; call (845) 265-3618 or (845) 265-9600.

And don’t forget the ArtFull Living Show House is open noon to 4 p.m. Fridays through Tuesdays through Sept. 9. It’s at Glassbury Court in Cold Spring, 3370 Albany Post Road (Route 9). Entry is by $10 suggested donation. A portion of the entry will go to the Born This Way Foundation.  (Note: Children under age 10 will not be permitted in the show house).
