One lump or two?

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will host its annual Victorian Tea Nov. 12.

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk is set to host its annual Victorian Tea Nov. 12.

Chaired by LMMM trustee Hunter Arton, the event will get underway at 2 p.m. and feature a talk by author and historian Esther Crain, who will also sign her book “The Gilded Age in New York, 1870-1910.”

The formal English tea will be catered by Julyen’s Table, and the afternoon will also include a silent auction.

Tickets are $45 ($35 for members), and hats are welcomed. Reservations are required by Nov. 3. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Proceeds will support the museum’s artistic, cultural and educational programs.
