Remember when you read Washington Irving’s “Sleepy Hollow” in school and Ichabod Crane was the gangly nerd done in by the hunky Headless Horseman? Well, Hollywood can’t sink its teeth into that, my friends. So we had Johnny Depp’s “Monk”-ish detective in the Tim Burton “Sleepy Hollow” movie. (Still, it was Johnny Depp.) And now we have dishy Brit Tom Mison as an Ichabod come back to life in 21st century Westchester in Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” series, which bows at 9 tonight. Sparks apparently and not surprisingly fly as he tangles with Det. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) in their mutual pursuit of the Headless Horseman, the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse and we guess assorted other horsemen. (They must be the new vampires.) Can Ichabod master the iPad?
