We love to follow the careers of those we have featured in our pages.
In WAG, we even have a feature called, not surprisingly, “Where Are They Now?”
Here in WAG Weekly, we often share news of what our past subjects are up to, as well.
It was a flash of recognition when opening the Sunday edition of The New York Times a couple of weeks ago. The cover story of the Sunday Review section, “We Are Not the Resistance” by Michelle Alexander, was illustrated by a work created by Johanna Goodman.
Her style immediately jumped out from the page, reminding us of our Q&A with the Nyack artist that ran this past September.
We first featured North Salem artist Daniel Greene in our pages with a March 2015 profile — and have kept in touch since.
Skimming the October issue of House Beautiful the other evening, we came across a feature about the resurgence of portraiture, illustrated in part by a Greene painting from his famed subway series.
What a delight to see these two talents whom we have featured again making a splash on the national stage.
